I'm often asked how I got into the wedding industry - here's my story...
I originally trained as textile designer and being involved in the fashion industry, met many hair and make up artists. Inspired by working in this sector, I decided to change my career path in 2000. Training at the prestigious Shepperton Film Studios was the start of a new journey which led to me working on numerous TV productions for BBC, ITV and Channel 4, such as Cutting It, Shameless, Waterloo Road and Coronation Street to name a few.
Raising a family in the Lake District brought about the transition into wedding hair and make up and has given me the perfect work/life balance for the last eight years.
Specialising in wedding hair and make up enables me to use my skills, techniques and knowledge and tailor them to each brides individual needs to enhance their natural beauty and make them feel great. I believe it’s really important to make my clients feel relaxed and comfortable, achieving the perfect look for the big day.
